Saint Vincent de Paul

at Sacred Heart parish

Sacred Heart’s Conference, of St. Vincent de Paul Society, help individuals and families meet basic needs and achieve self-sufficiency by providing food, clothing, and assistance with rent, utilities, and most importantly, Spiritual support.  We also do occasional special works, i.e., nursing home visits, toiletries for the homeless, free dinners, informational street fair, blanket and food drives, etc.  We believe that caring people can make a difference in the lives of others, and that personal and spiritual growth occurs when people become directly involved in helping others.

The Indianapolis Council of St. Vincent de Paul Society operate a food pantry, serving over 3000 families weekly. They also operate the Mission 27 warehouse and thrift store, a Homeless Ministry, Beggars of the Poor and Changing Lives Program.
